if it takes u too long to win a fortress siege, and so many of troops are dying during the attack, they dont exactly enjoy the attack, so the more it goes down, the more chances they will flee. if u wanna avoid this from happenning, u have to be more efficient, did u bring seige units??

i dont think ur stupid, seige units are, for example ur basic one is battering rams, units that were built to take down forts.. which is the point of fort siege. anyway if its a well defended then u will need siege units. the prob is to know how well defended the enemy is u need spying, so get that and find who has alot resouces sitting around in a not well defended fort, if its a fort 2 with no archers u can take it easily without siege, basically u should read alot more before asking such stupid questions. i dont think ur stupid but the question is pretty stupid, so just read alot, if u still have questions, then ask

there are still alot of things to read, also some things (very basic things, ppl just expect u to understand.. like siege weapons) its just that this is a war game, so ppl assume that other ppl interested in this game already know what basic terms are (its also english, for example u could even look up siege weapons in wikipedia) but my suggestion is if u cant put alot of time into this game, at the end, u'l be upset that u put anytime into it

just make more swords and spears.. and if there are soldiers inside the fortress send some archers and some cavalry so the soldiers inside will burn in your arrows .. also bring some battering rams or trebuchets.. use your spies to dig out your enemy's stronghold and also the most important thing is use the calculator and RTFM..
