Maybe to make new tournament with different rules. Game mustn't take so long.
My suggestions
I was thinking about that the one round takes 7 days. For example, if tournament begins in Monday all games from that round must be finished until Sunday 11:59pm (IO time
) or the games could be played in next week if one of the players have valid reason for not playing the game and result will be add later. Time for the game is limited (i suggest 30 min per player or 1h or maybe 15min but we could vote for that) and it must be the same for all players. Official time for playing the games could be from 7a.m.-10a.m. and from 7p.m.-10p.m. or it could be agreement of 2 rivals. Place for playing the game is not important (the best is real life and real clock:)) or we could agree that all the games is playing on the same place (my vote goes to yahoo because we could to watch the others games if we playing in the same room). And finally after all games are finished for that round, judge of tournament will fill table of results and makes pairs for the next round. 2 rivals play 2 games: one game with white and one with black chess figures.
And points for the game will be
win:1, draw:0.5, lose:0 points
Its my proposal but if someone can add or change something that will be good.
What do you think about tournament like this. Who wont to play?
I think it could be very interesting tournament.
