Ok, except from the province map, how do I put the rest to work? So far I can't figure out how to use political and strategy map.

So how can I use them without alliance? Let's say I want to attack a neighbor. How do I find who my neighbor is ?

You should not care where in the map the neighbor is, just notice his distance from you and hit him.It doesnt matter at all if he is to your north, south,east or west.

Thanks. This is the second game of this kind I play, and the first one was Ikariam where you need to find where the opponent is on the map to attack.
Might I add that this one is far better though
