2 questions

I have two questions.

1. I have 500 soliders in Province 8, I send them to colonize province 18. Then I can not find these 500 soliders any more? Shall they be staying in Province 18?

2. How to move some peasants to Province 18?

1. When you colonize a new province, the 500 soldiers "turns" into you firts 500 peasants. So, you "loose" the soldiers.
2. You can't.

2. You can hire some soldiers in province 8 ,send them to province 18 and dismiss there. they turn into villagers, just make sure you have enough spaces for villagers.
 Edit: I believe it's not vise to do that at the very start of the era,only later when you have more provinces and your economic is stronger.
