Bug / cheat someone has exploited

I got attacked by two players last night with armies far bigger than is possible, when you sort out the bug, will you be taking from those who exploited it waht they took and compensating the rest of us for what was wrongfully taken. I don't mind losing stuff when it's a normal situation, that's the nature of the game. it's not like it was a lot either but the principle

What about the chest that I have bought?  Will I be able to keep those items?  The research that I have done, will I loose that too?

The solution that they are offering will mean that I will loose about 250k in diamonds, will I be refunded?  It would appear not.

- all diamonds, chests and items, purchased from 6:00 AM server time on November 2nd till the backup's start will be restored in the accounts;
- you will lose the research only if it started after 6 am on Nov 2.
