Please explain:
[battleRep=449507]GreatGuardian Vs ENRIKEGONZALEZ[/battleRep]
The battle report shows that at 66 morale, all my swordsmen retreat, even though that shouldn't happen at least until 50 morale. What is the point of showing "army morale" if the swordsmen have their own morale that can cause them to retreat much earlier than any simulator can predict?

Hello GreatGuardian,

The battle report shows the average morale of all lines present on the battle field in the current round. The first line, consisted only by swordsmen in this battle, fled due to a low morale at 47 points. 66 if the average morale of the second line, consisted of heavy archers who had 78 morale, and the swordsmen who had 54 before they lost 7 points in this round and fled. After this, only the archers continued the battle and only their morale was shown in the report.
Even though the garrison of the defender was empty, its fortress had build towers which inflicted damages and morale drop to the attacking army, which was the reason for morale drop below 50 of the swordsmen. Keep in mind that the number of allowed units in a Fortress siege is 3 times the Fortress garrison, the rest of the army in first line wait in reserve to complete the places of killed attacking soldiers. Only 1200 of the heavy swordsmen were inflicting damages to the fortress, the rest of them were waiting. Battering rams are limited by the same principal, but their quota is calculated separately.

I understand all that, but where can I see the morale broken down by troops? If I run a simulation, the only morale shown is that of the average army, which is not very helpful.

The battle report and the simulation show the average morale of all available battle lines at the battle field, the morale broken down by troops is not available at the moment. An animated report will be available soon, which will give better view of the morale values and lost points. In round 10 of the battle report of the Fortress siege by rounds, all heavy swordsmen are lost at once, compared to the previous battles where significantly smaller amounts of them were being killed. They fled due to a low morale in this round. In the next round only the heavy archers are present and continue the battle. When making a simulation, you can look for similar loss to see if any of the groups flee due to a low morale.
