Picking the best province available?

I can make a number of tiles my first additional province,  so what factors should I notice and consider in making my selection.  I hesitate since I see I cannot change my mind and better hope I made the right choice.  Door number one, two...  Which one.  What should I look for?

Is it a subjective decision based on ones style of game play or is it more straight forward.  Ideally what I would like is a chart that lists the various types of provinces and the good and bad of them.  Did I miss this chart/discussion somewhere else?  Should I cover my eyes and throw the dart or is there a strategy?

Which province are you are going to annex next, mostly depends on your personal strategy and objective. It is good to take into consideration that: boxing a province (surrounding it from four sides with already annexed provinces) causes 20 points Morale drop for the attacker; the different terrains grant different bonuses described in - http://www95.imperiaonline.org/imperia/game_v6/game/help/?section=global_map&lang=en&speed=2#globalmap_22.
