ok according to what i know, if army is set to retreat then army doesnt fight, and i assume that general would definately not partake in battle because army is not set to fight. so how come i get a siege on my military post that is set on retreat and the general dies? i saw the battles of my attacker and he wins fort sieges killing army in field and breaking fortress 8 with only 30000 heavy swords with absolutely no siege engines, so bearing in mind he might be using some magic trick i moved my army so that if set on retreat and magically goes to fight like what i assume is going on here to avoid some crazy explanation here from mods. so admins, who can explain why general died when army was set on retreat? and if i had left my army there would they have died too because of this assumed glitch in programming? http://prntscr.com/81bbeb

Hello mustique,

If a warden general has been assigned in a military post, he will fight and defend the holding even if the retreat option for the army has been chosen.
