Trade Routes between Colonies

Hi..I know how to create Trade Routes in Capital, Provinces and Colonies (Vassals and TPs are already set)

I have seen a colleagues Trade routes and in the Imperial Routes there is a Trade Route between 2 of his colonies. Now I notice that they are adjacent and there is a Trading Post adjacent to one of them as well..

What is the Criteria for having an Imperial Route betweenn 2 Colonies please...

The criteria is that the colonies have to be indestructible and adjacent to indestructible colony or annexed province. A colony can become indestructible if its ownership is kept for 2 weeks for realm with speed x2 (1 week for speed x4, 3 days for speed x10) after reaching 8th level of the fortress.
