Please send an e-mail to support@imperialsupport.org with this bug. Please also mention that the way you are trying to see the alliance on the global map is by clicking the "View Alliance on the Global Map" from the Alliance description page, even though it is showing so in the screenshot you posted.

Yes, apparently there is such bug, but if you write the alliance directly in the global map filters the same will be shown, thank you for reporting.
