You can connect your current account to Facebook using the Facebook connect option in the Rankings -> My friends tab and choose to register in this realm after login in your IO account via your  Facebook profile.
Also, you can accept a facebook friend invitation on your fb profile from a friend of yours who is playing in this realm. He has to send you invitation on fb from Rankings -> My friends tab using the option Invite friend.

i do what u say i use my face book ... then join the current era ... then i enter ranking then my friends ... then have only   2 options .......Rankings | Invitations
also i have no friends playing there .....but no choice to join the new era .... so what should i do

Enter the game via https://apps.facebook.com/imperia-online/
You'll be asked to Choose a realm. Use the Join button if a card for FB2 realm is available.
Please leave your username if it's not.
