With reference to the below screen picture that I captured:

Where I have marked with the red star thing (taken from Photoshop  *dance*)

It says that you will gain a 5% bonus on population growth. Wow, I thought, 5% is good expecially since I've only been playing for a month. So I bought it, gathered my resources, then bought it again, and again... and again...

So assuming 5% of 100 is - 5
5% of 136 (which is what I measured at the time) is 6.8 taking in the interest of fairness I'd happily accept 6.. however... I only got 5. Thats 5 little people visiting my town every hour and i'm keeping them alive longer...

I've decided not to spend the 150,000 on the next level because i'm unsure if its meant to be 5 added per hour or the 5% is indeed broken.

Anyone advance me on that?  *bear*

medicine gives 5 % bonus but on asic growth without med bonus. *Smiley*
for example you have med 4 and your growth is  100 per hour. you wont get 5 villagers more. 100 villagers per hour have alllready 4*5 % bonus from med 4. so your basic growth will be 100/1,2 = 83. you get 5 % of 83 =4 villagers. so your growth would be 104 after med 5. *Smiley* you can calculate how many villagers will you egt more per hour by this formula.   growth per hour * (1+0,05 * med lvl you are researching)/(1+0,05*med lvl you have)

did u include prov terrain in ur calculation? med isn't the only thing that affects ur pop growth..

the formula 4 pop growth per hour is this:

(30 + ur population/1000 + granary lvl) * (1 + med lvl. * 0.05 + prov terrain) = villagers per hour

so if u have 50 000 villagers in plains, with granaries lvl 10 and med 10 u get:

(30 + 50 000/1000 + 10) * (1 + 0.5 + 0.2) = 90 * 1.7 = 153

in mountains with forrest it would be:

(30 + 50 + 10) * (1 + 0.5 - 0.3) = 90 * 1.2 = 108

did u include prov terrain in ur calculation? med isn't the only thing that affects ur pop growth..

the formula 4 pop growth per hour is this:

(30 + ur population/1000 + granary lvl) * (1 + med lvl. * 0.05 + prov terrain) = villagers per hour

so if u have 50 000 villagers in plains, with granaries lvl 10 and med 10 u get:

(30 + 50 000/1000 + 10) * (1 + 0.5 + 0.2) = 90 * 1.7 = 153

in mountains with forrest it would be:

(30 + 50 + 10) * (1 + 0.5 - 0.3) = 90 * 1.2 = 108

i wasnt talking about province bonus because that wasnt a question. that was calculated in basic people growth. *Smiley* and your formulas are wrong i think. *Smiley* it should go like this becaue i calculated with data from my provinces and my forrmulas get accurate datas. *Smiley*
(30 + ur population/1000 + granary lvl) * (1 + med lvl. * 0.05) * prov terrain) = villagers per hour
(30 + 50 000/1000 + 10) * (1 + 0.5) * 1.2 = 90 * 1.7 = 162
