I'm having a 1st time at this game played other strat games, and what i look for is realistic simulation, 2 points to make regarding this and battle mechanics
1.Fortress siege should be "storm" in any historical period a siege was a long affair and defender could be relieved by another army attacking besiegers
2. In either case, siege or storm, attackers usually needed 3 or 4 times the numbers of the defenders to succeed, also with siege, disease likely to kill as many on both sides

The most realistic battle mechanics are in a game which doesn't have online strategy, only battles, the TotalWar sries of games, the day they do an MMPOG, I'll not be playing any others
