Cartaphacts vs Paladin?

Can i get a logic answer why whit all resurches equal(even whit better military medicine better for imperian) and the more hit points and dmg of paladins they lose so patetic againts cartaphacts?Dont get it...no logic at all...

Cataprachts get 0,5% bonus for each 1 000 cataprachts in group. So with that bonus, in groups over 40k aprox, cataprachts beat paladins with ease.

To tell the truth i just look the manuals for cartaphacts after i set the topic and i sol that  ...so yeah..i make the fast calc and go it...was just waiting the confirm

That's in attack... If Paladins attack cataphracts, do they keep that bonus in deffense???

bonus is  on cataprachts attack - so it works in defense and offense.

Do they got a limit on that bonus?

Cause if I remember phalanx got the same things but whit a limit.

Yes, the attack of both units can be increased for maximum 100%.
