Colony Destruction

Hey if i destroy one of my colonies...do i get to create another colony ..or i will have to research another level of colonization to create another colony...

if you destroy it, you can make new one... you dont have to raise colonization level

just want to be sure...before i go ahead and  destroy my utter uselss coal colony when i am a nomad
