sad colony??

i got a question...why is it that the happiness in my colonies are decreasing..i did not put any tax and have lvl9 temples in each colony but still it is decreasing...why?

btw just new to this game so sorry for the noob questions..thanks

The more distant a colony is, the bigger Happiness losses there will be, as this correlation is divided in 6 quadrants: from 0 to 20 IM – minus 20 Happiness; from 21 to 50 IM – minus 25; from 51 to 100 IM – minus 35; from 101 to 200 IM – minus 45; from 201 to 500 – minus 55; and from 501 afterwords – minus 70.

ok..so they are -45 as they are 100-200 range but is there any possible way to keep the happiness from decreasing..should i upgrade more my temple??(if its the only way to keep it from decreasing)

Higher levels of Temple and Fortress in the colony will grant you higher Happiness bonuses. You can also deploy army in the colony, because it also grants Happiness. Keep in mind, though, that army upkeep in colony is higher than in a province.
