Damn, just had a power blackout. I was in the middle of typing a reply, and I didn't get to watch the final hit. Thankfully the login page has the rankings, as I didn't get to make a screen dump.

I told luthor and Radoo to attack you when your armysave wasn't long enough. You logged out at 14.02 or something, and your army hit long at 17.20 or something. I told them to send on you but something happened they recalled and sent their armies somewhere else. Your army was back before you could log in... Next thing we know, you had left the alliance.
I nearly didn't join in. I knew I had some busy days coming up and would only be able to participate for a couple of days. But, I wanted a piece of the fun. I didn't get as big a pice as I'd have liked, as the player I was on my way to hit got booted while I was half way there. That was disappointing.
Alexander was the one who nearly cleaned me up. It was certainly an odd feeling waking up to see an ally 6 minutes away from using your army as toilet paper. Especially seeing as he wasn't in the alliance the night before.
It would have been stupid, and selfish, of me to stay in the alliance, knowing that I couldn't be around all the time to protect my army from being hit. I stayed long enough to have a bit of fun, and make a positive contribution, but it was sensible to get out when I did.
Mind you, I also wanted to get that big star, and it would have been damn hard to get it with no army.
