It's nothing new man. It's like that in all eras. A lot of people complained about bank interest for long but i must say i understand IO why they put it that way.

Bank loan should be used ONLY as LAST resort or we would end up with EVERYBODY using it to boost economy.

By the way, who knows if in medieval age "bankers" were actually taking that much if they borrow you gold.

well in the middle ages the only place to get a loan was from the Knights Templar as it was considered a sin to make money off of interest back then but the Templars got an exemption from the Vatican for fighting in the Crusades thats how they made all their money

Thats an interesting fact. My only question is where all people in middle ages catholic? I believe even in Christianity there where different factions. Like was it not Vandal and the orthodox christians that burn't rome?
