ummm how do u  open ure fortress vault?

i think i read it somewhere that when you are under attack % of your resources is hided in the vault while you are under attack.

 thx kopator    even though i think that will make the vault utilized even less then it  was  atleast before  it wasnt too hard  at early game to be able to say stash enough stone to repair ure fortress  right away if u got attacked now  your vault will have to be 3 times bigger  or more  to be able to do the same since  ull have to split the capacity 3 or 4 ways depending if  gold is counted seperate or not

I saw interesting thing

Go to Tavern -

you'll see that you can cash in your gold           
   
       How much gold is already cashed in / How much gold you can MAX cash in
           
 Now write the number that will be bigger than MAX,
 and a message returns:

Fortress Vault capacity has been reached.

 Fortress Vault (upgrade at Defensive facilities) influences the max gold that you can cash in into the Tavern.
 
 So, can we hide there our gold?

Automatically stashes and hides the resource amount its level capacity allows, while the province is under attack. Each level increases the capacity by 10%, given the basis 2000.
