Hit points for a level 8 fortress are double that of level 7.  So, if you run the battle calculator at level 7 and reduce all the army(both sides) and siege weapon numbers to half of what will actually be fighting, the final morale number and win/loss result should accurately reflect the result of an attack on a level 8 fortress.  I ran calcs on lvl 6 this way and then doubled the armies for lvl 7 to test the idea and it seemed to work.

hmmm sorry but i didn't understand well the instructions.. well please CORRECT me if im wrong.. to start building lvl 8 fort the enemy need to have lvl 12 of fortification.. and the formula for lvl 8 fort is lvl 8 fort = +15fortifications??.. so im going to put into the calculator a lvl 7 fort w/ 12+15= 27 lvl of fortification??.. Is that right?? can someone tell me if it is right.. gee thnx!!!  head_hurts_kr  *rose*

nope. you double the fortification lvl of attacker.  so if he have 12 fortification you take 2*12 + 10 lvls because fort 8 = 34

Lvl.8 fort = Lvl.7 fort with 2*suspected fortification level of enemy + extra 10 fortification levels; not just adding 10 or 12 levels of fortification, cause you'll get extremely wrong results and possibly lose your army.

example - lvl.8 with 15 fortification = lvl7 with 40 fortification (10 + 2*15)

oh gee thnx.. so example if the enemy has lvl 13 of fortification so it is calculated as 2*13 + 10 lvl because of fort 8 = 36??.. Then im gonna put in the battle calculator Fortress lvl 7 and lvl 36 of fortification??.. thanks.. *Smiley*)

Hi  The calculator that I download from my site is not correct.  I cannot enter the number of siege weapons within the battle.

Where can I get the correct or latest version ??

look at it again...calculator 2 is for pillages and field battles and calculator 1 is for sieges. Only in calculator 1 you can put siege weapons

adding fortification as 10+2x is wrong because 51.2k guards can hit(~4million dmg per round) ,but f7 with increased walls can be hit by only 25.6k guards(~2m dmg) ,so u need to add additional 333 trebuchets .And because those added 333 trebs fire from round 1 ,and they replace guards that hit from round 3 ,we added 4 millions fixed dmg in rounds 1 and 2 and that should be compensated.So add 4 fortification levels which is 4423680 million hp for 7 on mountain which we put in our calc.
So dividing with 2 is better option IMO,but u can also:
fortification=(realFortification*2)+10+4
additional troops =333 trebs
premises:full guardian power at all times hits wall,attacker have 52k guards at middle of fortress siege.

their is simple one for fort 8 if you have the max 51.6K guardians still hitting against the forteresss after the field battle. just divide the number of siege by 2 on a fort 7 with actual fortification without any other change. you get it right directly(except for lost that don't get the siege taken out in the gold value of the lost). if the number of guardians is not that much you can divide all armies by 2 as suggested. in this case army and point lost need to be double to fit actual value.
