vacation mode is not working

one of my members is wanting to go on vacation, and they have 20 credits, but every time they click to activate it just returns to the extras screen again without doing anything!!  Please tell me how to correct this!  He is in great danger in our current war.

only 50% of alliance net points can take vac. So if other members are in vac then he can't vac out. Best solution is you can leave and join same alliance 4x in 1 era. So he should leave alliance and take vac and when hes ready to come out of vac and rejoin just send him a invite.

Thanks for the response.  I had forgot about that.  Unfortunately in realm 10 you can only join an alliance 1x per era.  If you leave or get kicked out then there is no returning.  You can also only join like four or five alliances total within one era.
