You dont get to buy while being attacked?

 while getting attacked 2 times today i wanted to buy ressources but it doesnt work, only the " sell " button appears.
i emptied first attack to 0 gold, but second couldnt coordinate the buildings and researchs.
anyway just explain why or enable the buy button please?

i dont play them but i understand the market locks in clasic realms when under attack.

depends who you are attacker or defender! Has been like that a while in classic realms. But yes it stops you trading and spending resources. You can however upto 15k net hide resources in depots(depot won't unload till you tell it). and is not exspensive to build big depots there nethier! My depots are not that but I can hide over a mil in them.

its the best thing. game became so linear when way of progress is in stake .U dont need army , being online is always enaugh (not in classic ) .U think its bad because u exploit shaked balance ,most of farmers thinking they are good players only because game has flaw. sorry no offense .farming in classic is harder ,u have to risk ur resources,offline rule ,no dumping ,and if someone interrupts u while u collect for expensive stuff,he can damage u no matter u are online ,but unprepared.
