disband to immigrate

Since I can't move peasants to other provinces, can I disband an army into another province to move them? (I know it would be expensive for training them for nothing, I just want to know).

yes u can move them that way

Yes. The most efficient and quickest way is to hire light spearmen.
They are relatively cheap and quickest units in training. Then you
relocate them to the desired province and disband.

Also good thing is, when you disband them, you will get 50% of
resources, spent on training them, back.

You can disband by going to the screen where you would normally recruit soldiers. Just enter the amount of the unit and click disband (v4).

alot of big players do this with light spears or light archers. their is probably a cut of point where it becomes pointless but it seems a good way to get you pop growth up faster at the start.

probably 30k is enough easily.
