population limit

my population limit is say 10,000 and population is 8,000. workers are 4500 and army 1500. where does rest of population go. i mean. 4500(workers)+1500(army) =6000 but population is 8,000. so where does 8000-6000=2000 population go. can anyone help.

population limit is just maximum ammount of workers you can have which depend on farms. and actual number of workers is something different. they grow every hour, they are lost when you train army. you can see how many you have in upper left corner.
