Total income of alliance leader

Gold equal to 10% of the alliance leader total income are deposited in the Alliance Vault. The leader DOES NOT lose that income, it's just generated in the Alliance Vault.

Saying that.
I dont have any villages to produce gold. If i am the leader of the alliance this still working from the gold i have or counts only the gold villagers produce ?
And what you mean "Total Income"? Is this the production per hour, per day, per week or what ?

10% of your resource production in it s price in gold is deposited in the alliance treasury (per day)
