Colonization

Hi guys,

got question about colonization. I would like to box my capital. Of course that my first province is no.8 (plains). Map description is: provinces no.3 and 9 are hills, provinces no.7 and 13 are hills with forests, provinces no.2 and 13 are plains with forests and finally province no.6 is plain

I see 2 options hot to create capital in "box"

1. provinces 3,7,8,9 and 13
2. provinces 2,6,7,8 and 12

What is the best option and why?

Let's play with second option. It's clear that I have to change capital from province no.8 to no.7. When is the best time to do that? When am I going to have second province no.7 or wait until I am going to have all 5 provinces ?

it depends on fort lvls in that provinces, will your neighboor attack you or not... in general keep capital in higher lvl fort. for a while keep it in 8 because higher fort will give you better bonus on more people in prov 8. then after a while when you build fort in other prov, change it.
By capital i was meaning on which prov to use as main prov where to keep resources and army.

move your capital to where you want your ressources be stored or where you want to run a deficit (through bank loans) .... that's all

there is no matter where you have capitol cause capitol is needed only to credit option and no other things. if you take loan or if you have credit researched above lvl 4

I see that you don't have headache regarding capitol box

Anyway as minimum I have to have bureaucracy on level 4th to have 100% both province's efficiency
