travel from prov to another is 10 min in all realms. only in blitz is 2 min. So you send army to another prov and hide army 10 min. if you recall it at 9.5 min, you hide them 19 min. so 2 travelings are 38 min. enough to ambush everybody.

except that a careful attacker may detect that gold is not regularly decreasing, but by shots evry 20 min or so .... hence the flaw in that technic (otherwise easy to practice for newbies).
sending your army into a fake attack and recalling before 15 min is best at hiding, but less precise and slightly more complex.

a mix of spying in all provinces and rumoring, as well as observing stats (such as Honor if armies are recalled) helps to find out any potential ambushes

That an army is on the move ..... probably an army save, therefore the player might well be offline .... or in any case, unlikely for the army to be in the province I'm attacking (if you are after a secondary province and the decrease is in the boxed province *wink*)

as defender, you get a signal up to 60 min before impact : an icon with "bloody swords" will appear at the top of your kingdom's scree, next to the "army in mission" icon

the minimum time when you go to attack is = 40min + distance related minutes
right?

so if you calculate time ... if you are managing to reach the enemy province before it returns back, than it means that you destroy it without field war...
right?

Then you see the signal immediately as the attack is launched .... the signal appears up to 60 min before impact.

how do you know the time remaining before the defender's army returns ? .... unless you know exactly its cartography level, its destination and the precise time when the army departed ....

that's why attacking someone who you know has an army, but whose army you can't see is far much of a challenge than someone whose army is standing immobile in the boxed province .... and ultimately, this "fog of war" is far more useful when trying to defend your kingdom.

1. cartography level
2. possible destination
3. and the approximate time

these I know
what I do not know, are

1. is the oponent clever enough to plan ambush ... I think he is clever ...
2. is he online ... or when he will be online ...

if you are a premium member, yes.
if not, you'll have to manually activate the new fortress through the shortcut icon "Research and building"

so is the fortress will be destroyed during the upgrade, the upgrade will stop and will not be completed?
