Just look at the bright side: if all their members left the alliance, their alliance will exist no more, but your alliance can wage and win other wars and proper for the glory of all its members! And your alliance name will be respectfully whispered by your grandkids, in a stormy winter, while you will tell them your story at a fireplace...
