The problem is, visually the spearman are as well protected against archers as the swordsman. Heck, in the elite tier, the spearman looks BETTER protected against archers as they have a shield while swordsman elite does not. Yet archers deal 9 times more damage against spears than against sword. Now, swords might be better at deflecting arrows, but quite frankly in face of the giant shields it's not going to be that big of a difference. So I suggest changing the spearman arts and maybe remove or reduce their shields. Alternatively, "reinforcing" swordsman art would also work, In other news, Heavy Calvary and Paladin have the following text: - Vulnerable to Spearmen: Against this unit the Attack of Pikemen and Men-at-Arms is increased What in the name of everything fluffy is Pikemen and Men-at-Arms?
