Title: Assassinate your own Emperor
Post by: Piackage on October 02, 2013, 04:11:39 AM
How do I do this? My original Emperor is fat and ugly and old and I my Prince seems better suited. How do I begin the  coup d’état to replace my Emperor with the Prince?

He can be changed only if a dynasty marriage terms were violated and a dynasty peace was broken. If the Emperor has characteristic - Disgraceful and has grandchildren to inherit him, you will be able to assassinate him and automatically replace him with the heir.

The How To Play guide read "The emperor can be assassinated, meaning that a coup d’état could be performed and a new emperor could be appointed. In this case the player takes the decision to assassinate his own emperor aiming an early succession to the throne." There was no mention of the prerequisite condition of the Emperor having to be Disgraceful. That would be a key piece of information to add to the guide. Thank you for your response.
