Title: Inconsistent Battle Stimulator
Post by: Akeela on March 18, 2013, 18:41:31 PM
Hi i got a question.  When i use the battle stimulator to stimulate battles with large armies  ( more than 5000), it is inconsistent.  By that i mean say i stimulate 10 times, 5 times the attacker wins, another 5 times the defender wins.  Why?  Whats with the randomness?

moral (moral drop) is randomised, the structure of army  (as groups) is randomised. the other factors are fixed.

If your morale drops under 50, army have certain chances to flee. 2% per each morale under 50. Example, on 40 morale, chances are 20%. Check hapens in each round, so to fight and win on 25-30 morale, chances are pretty slim.

Ohh i see thanks...so if i stimulate 10 times and 8 times it comes out as attacker wins, does it mean i have an 80% chance of winning the battle?  Or should i calculate my morale drop manually myself?

no, it ain't means you got given chances for winning the battle. after moral goes bellow 50, in any stage of the battle the army can flee- here is where the "randomisation" is applied-that moment, that battle round is chosen by the server side- it just scramble the contingeny of an event and a given time/round.
