Title: Diminished value of chests Post by: Raael on November 01, 2012, 20:58:13 PM Recently i, along with several players in my alliance, have experienced a big drop in the rate of getting the maximum from a chest. In fact its so rare that ive only experienced it once for the past week. Is this a bug or has IO changed the algorithm so that its much less likely to get the maximum?
Apparently you usually get 50% of the maximum amount or less. Even bonus chests no longer give maximum amount of resources very often. IF this is a deliberate action i would like to know the reason for it. This change effectively means that our diamonds are worth less, now combine that with an unchanged probability of getting 0 resources and we're left in a situation were buying chests in the temple is not worth it. Diamonsd are too expensive to buy just to waste them on little gains or nothing at all.. Title: Re: Diminished value of chests Post by: tiger on November 01, 2012, 22:35:16 PM The chests didnt changed. They are pure luck. Each value have certain probability, after that its pure luck - you cna get maximum 5 times in row, butt you can easily not get it in 5 openings also.

Title: Re: Diminished value of chests Post by: SCRUB on November 01, 2012, 23:53:17 PM through My experiences with the temple gifts. 1 box will be empty 1 box gets 40-60% of goods 1 gets 70-100% Now if you choose the same box every day lets say No. 2. then your chances of getting something good are the same as if you change every day.
Random as it is. you take your chances. and I have gone 9 days straight with getting empty boxes. Too Bad there isnt a 3 sided coin you could flip to see how many times it lands on the same side. I agree on that is the way it used to be. But now its more like 1 box is empty, 1 box is 10%-25% and 1 box is 50%. |
