Title: what´s for dinner?
Post by: numpty on November 10, 2010, 21:19:10 PM
Tell us what you´re having for dinner!!!

I`m making an oven roasted chicken, a nice salad and rice.  The chicken and salad will be good, after 20 years, I still can´t make rice worth a damn, tastes good, looks like grool that bridge trolls eat and could be used to seal a crack in a damn or cure a horrible case of diarrea *Angry* *xxx*

this is debatable.  nicotine should be higher than heroin just based on availability.  @crass, that´s in the states, here in portugal you can possess a consumable amount of any of the aforementioned drugs and guess what, nada, zilch, nothing anyone can do to you, it ain´t prosecuted, at the very worst you have to deal with a police officer annoying you for 5 minutes!

based on my life experience nicotine is the worst of all those drugs,

ketamine is an anesthetic, used at present date to sedate your family´s pet.  unless your michael jackson, it ain´t easy getting hooked.  i agree with the nicotine and alcohol though, but the tax money these two generate is massive, imagine if ganja was taxed, instead of raising taxes they could lower them....

*hihi* not "slightly" ... it is more like set on fire.... then washed and cooked.  *freak*
for me the taste is more spicy and stronger than meat from leg of lamb.

dude you enjoy your eyes, here in portugal we eat pig/cow/goat nuts, brains of just about anything mammal, cow stomach, pig kidneys, pig tail, feet and ears, intestinal walls of pigs and cows, tongue and just about any animals ass....

there is a story that the moors stormed portuguese castles and couldnt get in, taunting the portuguese by throwing what they didnt eat in the castle, that´s allegedly what inspires people in this country to eat these lovely foods.

either way, those eyes have got to be juicy, don´t think i could eat eye, penis or vagina of any animal so you enjoy that eye, although if you put enough spice i imagine you won´t taste anything but the spice!!!!

Well, some things are gross. But a well boiled lamb head with some extra salt for the brain, eyes and tongue- mmm.... You can also eat the legs. But the other things you wrote about- I guess they do have some nutritive value, but I wouldn't eat these (unless I am in some kind of a crazy survivour situation... then again- if I should eat the guts of a sheep, it is dead and therefore I can eat all the meat instead and forget about these).

What I am having for dessert- half an apple, half a lemon. Might add some kiwi to the concoction.

believe it or not people do eat these things and regularly in portugal.  pig ears, nose and tail is quite frequently consumed in cozido á portuguesa, intestines is a northern portuguese delicacy, just the smell makes me vomit, unable to adequately describe it, mix toe jam, butt cheese, sweat and fart, perhaps you have 50% understanding how discusting intestines are!!!!!

didn´t eat dessert tonight, I am on a diet, cigarettes and coca-cola

If I read another line from you, I might not finish my dessert either. P.S: We have something like a "burning" (or charring, or scorching) here, perhaps it is the same in Portugal- you get a flamethrower and then... buaahahahhaha the pigs body. This way all the nasty stuff and smell falls off. And, with some extra boiling, some of the skin, legs, feet and even ears can become quite a decent dish. Ofcourse, it is something like a small tradition here, so people pay a lot of attention and efforts to prepare the pig well. Still, you won't find anyone here eating the other things you described.

nope portuguese dont burn this and drink it with beer, they boil it so it stinks....the pig ears, feet and tail have the exact texture you would expect from eating cartilage, really no point, you could be like my cat, just eat plastic, then throw up all over the place.....

PS - this topic is awesome, started with food, went to drugs, throwing up plastic.....all we´re missing is to talk about midgets, softcore porn, sexual prowess and explosive diarrea and it will be a truly complete thread in IO games forum

well we also eat rams testicles   *pardon* ... man i should visit Portugal   *hihi*  *freak*

i hope no one will be offended by this story... not my intention...  *pardon*

anyway... there is a true story related to those sheep heads :
my country, Iceland, was occupied by the British in ww2 but they didn't stay for long because they needed all of their army down in Europe... so US-army/navy was asked to come instead and protect the country. When first US-navy ship landed in Reykjavik harbor and the sailors went to land there was quite a number of african-american men. In these times in Iceland, colored people was not often seen. So ppl of course watched all of the soldiers and stared at the black soldiers  *hihi* anway... this must have been bit hard for those guys.
So they march from harbor to central/downtown Reykjavik, on their way the pass the office building for Eimskipafélagið(icelandic transport shipping company (founded 1913)) and notice a symbol on top of their office building, which happends to be logo for the company and a old symbol from the viking age but Hitler and co. managed to ruin...  :evil3: .  (http://www.mbl.is/myndir/gagnasafn/2004/08/31/GH5A14EP.jpg)
The soldiers stop at the building and do not know what to do...... They had been, rightly, told that Iceland were friendly and british had occupied for some month without any trouble... but the sign in their eyes is right there on top of that building.... and frighten but brave they decide to inspect the area. Over the street they see a crowded restaurant and march over there. Through the window they see people eating alot of black heads on with their hands! The soldiers became so frighten that they run for their life all the way from downtown to the harbor.  *hahaha*  *hahaha*

 *freak*

you have been misinformed by mainstream media and other form a misinformation brought about by george bush, obama and all other politicans since Nero.  I didn´t crack, i used my 38 cm leg to prop myself up behind the wall, the original storyteller was on the wrong side of the wall!!!!!

microwaving eggs?  man learn to cook, it makes getting laid so much easier if you are any good at it.  imagine, you bring home a lovely lady and microwave an egg for her.  this is what goes on in her mind, "This dude makes me an egg and in a microwave?"  and then proceeds to eat it tell you its lovely and suddenly has to leave.  likely to doink the first dude that opens a can of tunafish or sardines in water, in oil tastes bad!!!!!

Island is on the 2nd place in the Europe gathering fish from Atlantic ocean. There is much fish there because of the better climate plankton grows up really fast, so fish migrates there for food. :)

I imagine crass, sitting cool, hidden in a shady street corner. Blent in with the shadows, you wouldn't even seen him, if there wasn't that little smoking thing in his hand. Shush! I hear steps. Slow steps. Cautious steps. What is the patrolling cop so wary about? BURN IN HELL YOU DIRTY SWINE!!! BHHCHSHHHUAGHHHAHAHAHAHHHHH!!! (sounds of the flamethrower unleashing the liquid hell upon this unlucky uniform guy mixed with crass' sinister laugh). Ah, that is why. So all the stories were true. This thought just crossed the cop's mind. A nick of time too late.

I hope i am not too late...But Dinner tip #1 to improve your dinner's taste and maybe as a unintended side effect prevent Montezuma's Revenge "Try soaking or rinsing your rice prior to cooking to reduce starch" :hmmm:
