it`s been a while since the PREDATORS were in full strength, and that was only in r10......

but now, we`re back, meaner than ever :evil3: and we plan to win the alliance ranking in r2, and also to have most members in top mili or net :hard: :hard:
it will be a hard work, and i`ll try to update this story as it goes :)

starting team was:
stud (me as the leader, and the founder of PREDATORS), kosac (our pillager :) ), zamlaaata (young prodigy found by kosac), starbuck and montego (as the most experienced of us all), leb4ever (old comrade of starbuck) and last but not the least sv_iv (our newest reinforcement, a strong fighter and the only girl int the alliance *rose* )

we set out very good, the era started 1 month ago, and we now have 3 players in top 50 in net, 5 players in top mili and we`re currently the first alliance wit 2 wins :hooray:

our first 2 wars ended like this:

And the big plus in r2 and r3 is that enemies cannot see if you are online or not...

But, we need new wars... and enemies in our far away part of map, where we got with Starbuck this era. This is a discrimination against Ireland... *UNDECIDED*

and yep we lost against BOYARS, but it was more like a blank shot to test each others. Next time will be even more destructive ... for them :)

Hmmm, let`s see. For 3 hours stud changed his flag from german to croation few times. So and wulf, he was for 1 hour in 3 different places in Europe (what a travel  *hihi* ) - Ireland, Czech Republic and Croatia. Now, at this time (11:06 CET) sv_iv is in Ireland. Let`s see few more minutes where he will be.  *freak*

I am always in Ireland and wasn't in another country... read forum in r4 (http://www4.imperiaonline.org/forums/int/index.php?topic=13455.465) and see that I am living in Ireland... If you want to say that we have 2 Irish Flags in the alliance, it is OK. Starbuck and me are both living here...  only in different parts of the country.

Bobitu, there is no problem when someone WHO IS NOT PLAYING IN THE REALM has to babysit another player who has IRL time issues and can not attend his/her account.
it's a wholly different thing, when a player from the same Alliance will not hesitate to babysit the accounts of 3 or 4 of his teammates 18/7 if necessary : that's what I call multi-accounting by association ... that's what Alliances such as BOYARS, LATINLORDZ or OEA (and others) have been actively doing everytime they saw fit.

and that's why I don't respect players who can't just stick to the 1 account = 1 player rule when they aim for the top military, networth or alliance ranking : they are just cheating their way !! Whether that cheating is punished or not by the Administrators of the game is a different question.
newbies and noobs can babysit each others as much as they want for all I care : they are here to discover the game (or try spoiling the fun off others), but you need to have a reallly perverted sense of self-respect and honor if you think there is much to gain from playing this way for experienced players ;)

but for me, there is no need to argue : it's just shameful :)

and the lame excuse of "we are doing this, because others are doing it too", is just what it is  .... lame !!

as for Wulf, it's war. What I'm disappointed by is his decision to leave following your combined attack.
last era, I lost my army 4 times (2x in attack with siege weapons, 2x in defense), that didn't prevent me from rebuilding it each and every time and finishing in the top 10 military ranking (until the era finished with frinedly battles ;)).

Another round of hostilities has started with BOYARS tonight ... let's see if they can repeat the same feats as before :)

Unfortunately, 2 of our active fighters have had to choose between studies and their devotion to IO : Zamlaaata and Bozgo have left our Halls for some less glorious rooms, but nonethless critical for their future successes.

That's truly incredible ... I don't know how the BOYARS can be so lucky to be able to find players among us who are either out of power or out of time ...  :rant:

A bit of discipline and respect for basic prudent rules is just what's needed when fighting in an active Alliance : like timing your army save for a return at least 20-30 min after your expected log-in.

But it's also how things are when players stick to the 1 player = 1 account rule and don't go babysitting each others .... mistakes can happen and you always have to plan for the unexpected :))


There are still 4 more days for the war, enough to get back at them *evil*

The same happened with Montego and Stud who had their PC to break while attacking.

It could happen at anytime or against anybody, but ech time, it happened against you guyz.

Luck is a skill in warfare, and you have plenty of other skills too. And I don't mean that as a disrespect.

However, babysitting and sharing account between member of the same Alliance is a totaly different thing : that's bad sportsmanship and a completely dishonourable behaviour when you are aiming for the top rankings.
When babysitting 24/7 in Alliance Wars, it's akin to multi-accounting for me.

Now, dare to say publicly that no one in BOYARS has babysitted (moved troops or resosurces, launched attack orders, coordinated attacks and spying between accounts ...) anyone in your Alliance in the past 4 weeks, and I will hold you to your word !!!
No latter than last night, Tiodor and Bobitu were managed by one player only.
The same would happen with yourself and Tiodor or Peshko1 at other times, not even worth mentioning Capt.Blood.

You are very active players, there is no denying that. And you know how to play IO well. I'm not arguing with this either.
But you aren't respectable players as long as you don't stick to the 1 player = 1 account rule 24/7 !!! It's as simple as that :)

and like I said, it's not because others do it (LATINLORDZ, OEA, ...), that you've got to do it too ;)

First I'd like to share with you that we have the great advantage of living in the same city and knowing quite well each other, we know our habits, our families and way of living and beacuse of that the coordination in our actions is perfect. I'd also like to say something publicly here. Yes! We help each other but if this is not in accordance with the rules of the fair play then we manage to cover it up through our game. I mean our calculations, observations are coordianted in contrast with the actions of the rest who just help each other without knowing what exactly they are doing. I want to ask you now what stopped sv_iv from saving his army while standing in front of the pc and I'll give you the answer - one of us studied the habits and actions of this account and that's why the attack was accurately calculated. Do you have any idea how difficult such observation is and how time-consuming it is? This why we are advanced before the rest of the players. I'd like to tell you one more thing - we are at a war with you not because it is something personal but because you are in our range and we need to gain enough points to classify. That's why here, publicly again, we invite you in Sofia, Bulgaria to have a beer in some Irish Pub. Then we can explain to you how we do all of the above mentioned.

ofc, I know that there is nothing personal in declaring wars ... even if there were, that wouldn't change anything : we are in the race all together and there can be only one team at the top.
One declared because there are points and/or war incomes to be made.
I sure know how much time-consuming is playing military Alliances seriously ... and lowering points to be just below the 2x of another player or sharing info with other Alliances to gang-up on a perceived weaker player, this are just very smart moves. That may seem basic to experienced players, but it's also so refreshing when you see it ;)

And that's precisely why it's so interesting to play military, rather than farming your way til the end of the era.

but that doesn't change a thing about my charges about bad sportsmanship :)

Smokers are no-more. We had some fun in era's we played but many of former members have stopped playing.  I will always be there very proud leader. *heart* Atm I am farming in r1 and getting attacked and pillaged all the time. I seem to be getting hang of being good farmer. Except I believe part of being good farmer is putting a white flag up. And I just can't bring myself to do that the warrior in me just won't let me. :evil4:
