Title: First Wave Post by: Xaoc on July 19, 2008, 21:07:13 PM The first wave of Nomads, lead by the notorious and vicious Oton, has passed through the lands of Imperia. The rumors say these were just scout parties, numbering 1000 spearmen each.
As would have been expected, they were met mercilessly by the defense garrisons of the Imperia strongholds... without the support of siege machines, hundreds of thousands of barbaric attackers perished, smashed against the walls... however 8 of them were victorious. The first Invasion ended in: Nomads' victories: 8 Nomads' defeats: 997 Total number of lost soldiers by the Nomads: 829 646 Total number of lost soldiers by the Imperia defenders: 23 387 Total number of killed villagers: 0 The word is that these attacks were just to test the defenders resolve and more waves are coming. Rumors say that Oton was able to escape with one of the victorious parties and is gathering his forces for another attack! |
