im pretty much screwed >_> one miscalculated battle (i still dunno WTH i put on that calc to make it say i won) and i havent been able to build the army to defend crap since then  what with the constant rebuilding of the same buildings *sighs* All i can hope to do is keep playing >_> our number 30 guy has like 1200 pts, so i'm good xD |

Well, at least if you don't have an army your upkeep doesn't make you're gold drop to -900K while your sleeping you have a unbalanced economy, try getting your banking levels up to level 13, sacrifice 2 days production and turn it all into gold. do that and the interest from the bank will be at maximum 500 thousand gold an hour, paying your army is easy and you can do all the research and buildings you feel to do. i have just built my 3rd fortress 8 and i dont have credits i have 2 weeks without credits and frankly i dont need them. |

If i remember right 125k is THE MAXIMUM you can have as interest per hour. That's limit imposed by IO long time ago |

thats in normal realm this is blitz x4 .... 125000*4= 500000 gold an hour. i get full 500k + 217000 tax =717000 gold an hour. pays my elite army 220000k an hour and gives me to do all other research easily. build full temples and put tax on high, all vassals on very high. i just spent 40 million gold on research, military medicine, fortress 8 and armor 16 which was 2.7 million iron. you need 18 million gold to get the stone for fortress 8. daily interest gives you that easily  |

thats good advice sheridon, I never thought about banking like that. But its a little late and doesn't matter for this, because I'm in the U.S. So i have 175K points and the 30th player has 1500.  Which brings up another question... What if we don't want the top 30 people from our country? Because clearly in places like the U.S. the top thirty aren't all active... |

Because clearly in places like the U.S. the top thirty aren't all active... it does matter it gives you a chance to practice for the real thing, even in normal game 3 million gold a day is a great boost. about the top 30 i am totally against that because in my country only the top 12 are acceptable. the rest wont last as long as a snowball in the hot sun  |

qualifications would be much more interesting if from it the top 30 go directly to world cup with what they have. most people here are already giving up because no matter what happens if they play or quit they would still be in the top 30. to start from 0 again is a killer. spend same amount of credits again doesnt sound too convincing to me. double money to win a medal by your name isnt so attractive. i am no sure if i`ll go into the world cup. i will finish qualifications to see how good i am and to practice some things for the regular realm but thats about it.
