Pillaging is a big part of the game, a great tool to get some easy war points or to make farmers cry.

It is just that we NEVER pillage. It's an honour thing. I reckon the huge Uruk_hai's farmer armies will be marching a lot without trebs just to pillage us all. They can do that, if they want to play that way, but we have honour and will not steep so low. We simply don't pillage.  *rose* never

The 3rd rule is between Neb and me, a negotiation about afiliation. The 4th rule is compensation for the 3rd rule.

as far as I know candidate attacks are attacks on or from players that haven't been accepted into an alliance yet... so that means that someone can send attacks; wait till 10 secs before the hit... then apply to an alliance... the points will count cause also candidate attacks count; but it's often considered an unhonorable tactics... it's also the other way around... if you attack someone from outside the alliance; that person can join the enemy alliance 10 secs before the hit and right after the hit leave the alliance... it's something like a trojan horse... but remember; I'm just a noob :)

If you want to make a candidate's attack, it is imperative that you still are a candidate when you send the attack, that you haven't joined the alliance yet. Therefore, the attack has to be sent BEFORE joining the alliance as a full member, otherwise it won't count as a candidate's attack.

But as candidate's attacks are not allowed, there is no need for further discussion about this  *rose* *rose* *rose*

Depends on what you want to do.

If you want to do a candidate's attack, you must send the attack BEFORE joining as stated in the rules. However, this is not accepted as per rule 1, first sentance.

well it doesnt really matter because all the above except #2 are example of candidate attacks no matter if you get accept or kicked afterwards ;)

to put it simply - unless it shows that you are IN the alliance - you are a candidate, no matter if you join it long or just before the attack.

By "no candidates attacks" we mean no attack made on/by people that aren't accepted in alliance. If you're part of one alliance you cannot attack someone from the other alliance who just applied but he wasn't accepted yet. Also you cannot do an attack if you're not accepted in the alliance. We came up with this rule because there was some fuzz in the past about this tactic. Personally I have nothing against it and I am sure Reac shares my opinion on this (although he is a natural born whiner so he might step in and whine again as usual *freak*), but since we intend to have like half of the realm involved in this war it is better to avoid as many misunderstandings as possible.

We will not forbid staying online more than 18 hours a day though, we even recommend it actually  *freak* *freak*  Also no one will be forced to recall attacks if the target goes on vacation mode, as some dudes would like us to do  :-X

I don't have the time I used to to play this game. Tha's why I stayed small this era. You have to fight harder for those honor points, so I think that shows I do know how to play. You don't end up with nearly 500 honor points and get close to Marshall while being under 100000 points without knowing something. I just don't have time yo play with the big boys. Plus, there's more free gold to be had down here  :D

hey reacarro, how is the war going, I went vacation mode because I got too high carto, no one from uruk hai can kill my army with one single blow, it simply isn't enough but if they find a willing kamikaze so I had to put vacation mode, glad that I killed camthekill, revenged for a friend is complete, I have done my job if the realm hasn't ended yet I will come back and kill one more if I am lucky. It was nearly my log off time and camthekill was more than 2000 distance and I simply can't wait for my troops to return so I just set vacation mode. It was fun killing camthekill, it was hard to kill nebthe, he is 388 distance from me, I hope his computer malfunction when I am online and then I can kill nebthe.  *bear*  *evil*

Actually, I just lost 3/4 of my guards in your attack and 1/3 of my phalanx but like I said I am not mad anymore, we all should sometimes get lucky in life and neb promised to not sabotage my net connection anymore  :P

As far as killing noobs in the war, I wouldnt call anyone in your alliance a noob, I have great respect for most of them, some being my x-allies, some worthy opponents, most of them had 3,4 stars if not marshals so I am proud I had a chance to play against another strong team :)
