This is probably a dumb question but; I just fought my first 'real' battle. Even though I won the field battle (leaving an empty fortress) I lost in the end. What did I do wrong? You probably had to little sieges or swords to do it, so you lost.

To win against fortress you need seize weapon and swordsman . No matter how many Light Cavalry attack a fortress they can not break fortress and lost the battle but they can easily win field battle . It will take a little time to know most of the trick but you can not learn all the trick , that's why the game is interesting , the more you play more you will explore
