As everyone know yet I´m playing a different style this era and i do it because I´ve got some ideas and theories and just want to know if it works or not and for the awesome fun of course   :D

Inspired by Naylrod ( I miss you mate ) and by the godfather of pillaging makatas (godlon) i want to try something new and spice up the game because it´s gotten a little boring lately  *tired*

I actually was exited  *YAHOO* to see how other players would try to prevent me from pillaging them on a weekly base and was hoping for some nice little tactics they may invent  *ok* but so far it´s pretty disappointing  only the well known hate messages (usually in Cyrillic or Turkish)  :rant: and a few cry babies begging for mercy  *cry*

Maybe it is just laziness, stupidity or even jealousy that my allies and me and even some other players getting accused of multi accounting now  :P there are rumors that we (age) are just the 2nd accounts of some big players who wants to keep their hands clean and let “age” do the dirty work and some other bulls**t

It´s kind of amazing that people tend to believe someone is cheating only because he/she is doing something different and is actually quite successful at it instead of trying to stop him with the features the game offers

Something like “if this guy is better than me he/she must be a cheater”   that is so sad  *freak*

Anyway..... what i want to say is

I will pillage whole era everyone again and again  :evil4: (besides friends of course) and i want you to stop me from doing it

I want to find out if a pillager could be more successful than a farmer or warrior...... that´s it.... no tricks no cheating just a different way of playing

So stop crying and accusing me and my friends, just play the game and find a way to stop me..... that would be fun *hahaha*

For me it already past that time when I was scared of pillages... When I started to play IO I always felt upset after being pillaged. Now, after so many wars that I past through, I am looking at pillages like at something that you cannot avoid in this game. From another side most of my successful ambushes were made when I was pillaged. It means I have to be thankful for them... *xxx*...
Also not only a right strategy can bring success in this game. All strategies are good if played by good  and smart players... If you have excess of money and become a farmer-pillager, soon you won't have enough players in your range to pillage. Of course, you can go to x3 range, because if you are a pillager, honor means nothing to you: 100 plus or 100 minus does it matter?
The minus of doing only pillages is that you try to avoid meeting with enemy's army. Your morale is so low, that better not to try to win a battle... For me it looks like you are going to attack all era empty forts. The only one difference is that you don't need sieges and we all know how expensive they are and how painful it is to lose them.  *black_eye*
Everyone in this game is choosing his/her way of playing and as long as it brings success, this is the right way...
I wouldn't play such style, in any case.... It is too boring for me. I am doing pillages sometimes, but only seldom: don't get any pleasure from them...

Yes, you rule it now, because it is still too early for serious battles. But later in the era you cannot get as many MP for a battle as other players.... How many points can give you a pillage at the end of era? 50? 70? 100?
As a successful siege or defense can bring sometimes 2000 or more MP... and a lot of honor... How many pillages do you have to do to get these MP? You have to work for this day and night... Of course, being a farmer-pillager you can build later a huge army, but how about honor? Morale is a big problem for big armies too...

Just couldn't stand temptation to write today in this topic and to share how happy I am that some of players decided to become pillagers and how lucky I am that one of this players is my close neighbor...

You saved me from so many worries and sleepless nights with nightmares where alliances in war with smokers are pillaging my provinces while I am off line... :evil3:

here is a little update on what´s going on with Pill(age)  *hihi*

i have to say there are 2 guys who really make an effort to kill us  *guns*

it is zephir who was hunting PiII for some days now but always miscalculated the time when PiII´s army returned  *freak* so we gave him a little hint and he promised to work harder  *hihi*

last night zephir caught PiII´s army and killed almost all of it  *black_eye* I don´t know what happened yet but i´ve seen that PiII wasn´t online for some time with his army at home  *suicide*

maybe he was on the rice field or somewhat busy faking trade mark articles and sell them on ebay  *hahaha*

and then there is HotZetiGer who always pay back every visit he got from me  :evil4: i could almost tell the time from it  :D

well..... he wasn´t as lucky as zephir though  *hihi* this morning he came to rob my main prov but it seemed that he forgot something  :o siege weapons  *hahaha* *hahaha* *hahaha*

maybe he was drinking Sake with PiII and clicked the siege button instead of the pillage button  *hahaha* it happened to all of us i guess  *hihi* i´ll find out

after all it´s a lot more fun now since we caught the attention of some guys who are actually willing to kill us and not just talking about it  *bravo*

plus.... that way i don´t need to worry about honor and not being able to get MP from killing army later on because they just come and serve it to me right on my door step and my starting moral will be 100.... always..... no matter what my honor looks like  *hahaha* *hahaha* *hahaha*

I simulated again and it was not luck...if you attack to such a crowded battlefield(or the chance to meet the returning army)..you have to have a clean victory at the calculator...)

I always say..if you attack to a fighter you have to be very very careful :) don't see B as a pillager..he is one of the best fighters in IO...I think you will learn this with some suicide attacks because you don't get the advices that we give:))))

Well, loosing a couple of light troops as a pillager is not really like loosing your army. A pillager need very little to be a bad boy.

I think those days there were real noobs who were aware of nothing so he screwed them all:) :) :) last era isolde gave us some photos of 2 players being marshals at 15k networth... it is lame to be proud of that because if you disband all or get your army crushed on a friend with all your siege weapons like it was done the last era:) ..you can be a marshal at that points...it is no big deal but can be served like that infront of us...

if people were impressed with that..they have to be real noobs..so even radooo can be a king and screw a lot in an era like that :) it is like some Aborgines seeing a plane and regard it as God :)

but it is fine to admit that risk is taken  and it is good to see the congratulations from the defeated one...

Short update on our progress:

We have now liberated about 2 million souls from the evil claws of their warlords.
Almost 600 pillages have been made and that have brought us about 10 million in gold.
Every penny have been invested in our poor citizens, not a single dime to ourselves.

Well... Getting 7 medals in the first day by pillaging does not make you a warrior also. And we have not finished second month. In the end of second month generally i'm top 5 military, if not first. Dude, we have not played together, so you can't evaluate me in just 1 month.

The problems is that your friends are also under -2000 ;) You need other friends... But if you will get the other friends to do that, you must choose them in my range. That is a common misstake from farmers, they think they are warriors once they get an invincible army (mid-era or later). A true warrior fight from day 1.

Not exactly, and what I mean is not medals in day 3 or 4 but a guy that makes an army as soon as possible and start using it, make or join an alliance and start fighting wars. That is a true warrior (or more correct, that guy play as a true warrior). At least in my point of view. And if you do that and find yourself as a Marshal or in top 10 with some medals in the end, you are doing it good. But... - And this is important - a guy that farms for half an era or so, just to be big enough to get those 2x-range fights where you have 200k net and the poor victim have 100k is not playing as a true warrior, he or she is playing as a farmer/warrior which is by no doubt a very good strategy if you wanna win the mili-rank. But don't get it all mixed up with being a great fighter/warrior/killer whatever. Because then you are wrong.

This was not exactly pointed at radooo, since I know you know these things. It is pointing to all the farmers out there that think they know how to fight by taking a few medals at the end.

when i heard about BERSERKERS  everyone talked about him being very good  *pardon*  but this is by far the most stupid startegy  ive ever seen *xxx*  his morale is under -2000  im sure  *crazy*  soo...........  this means  he lose over 40 morale pts   *stop*  i can simply stop his pillages by leaving 500 soldiers in each of my provinces .........  when he attack with his big army of light sodiers  by the time he is to kill my soldiers  his morale will drop so low and his army will leave the field  *Angry* and he will end up losing  *hahaha*

i kind respect what he and his allies are trying though....... *drunk*  many players wouldnt waste 4 months  trying out this strategy ....... im guessing  he or some of his allies will soon quit  *bye* because after a while it gets very boring  just doing pillages  *UNDECIDED*  just  hope they get what they are looking for   :evil3:


if u guys play the same startegy next era  im gonna build many farms .....i dont normally build many farms  because in alliance wars  sometimes 1 pillage can be the difference between a win and a lose.......... *freak*

i plaiyed 2 years ..and from 5 mounths i quited ..worcking a lot , i dont have time ....but ah , how i miss IO , at this qwestion evrything is good , and why not try one era something diferent from all , evry strategy is good ..i was a thery good warior , but after that i start farming and batlles at half era , i thought is the greatest strategy ..till i meat IIIacrush (winer nomad era 1) and goerged realm25 ..they ware from start only worriors , a lot of wars war income ....and i couldnt reach them in MP ...they ware great , thats way evry strategy is good , it more depends from the player then from the strategy he is plaiyng ....good luck to all !!!!!!!

The only problem is that most alliances do friendly pillages (which arent legal), so that might be the problem. If that didnt happen it definately IS possible.

well, i made my way trough the realm pillaging everyone i could get  :D and i even killed my own army a few times  *hihi* i just did not care to watch all the attacks and since i rebuild an army literaly over night it doesn´t matter if some guys get lucky loging in right in time  *hahaha*

and as mentioned here before i got my weekly 10 hours bann, so that even the farmer boy renis noticed there is a chance to kill some of my troops  *hahaha* no big deal i pillaged again right after the hit and even caught an incoming attack from getin1 who thought that he is save attacking my outer prov while my army is sitting duck on negative gold  *hahaha* what an easy job... just activate some troops from barracks and that was it  *hahaha*

in fact the game is quite boring now.... always the same  :evil3: and so much gold coming in that it is hard to spend other then on troops

as i´ve read here you guys had some fun in this thread and the same old cry babies made me laugh here as well  *hahaha*

i hope i can come up with some new ideas in game just to make it more interesting because i´m bored
