why do i not have  a population loss do to farm shortage i had a negative capacity at annex and built a couple farms  now it isnt negative anymore and i dont have a loss but my capacity is only 6008 and i have 9600 in that province so thats like 1/3 more than capacity. im not complaining lol im just tryin to understand  it

You only have pop loss when the total is negative.

ok but im tryin to figure out how u determine what farm u need for population  my population in the above  posted farm is now 2k higher  but capacity still says 6008. how is capacity determined? is it not based on population?

yes i understand that but what is its relation to population  and pop limit? lets take province 1 starting out as an example  u start with farm capacity 100,000  with the capital bonus  now i took that to mean i didnt need a farm till i hit 100,000 population.  but if that was true  shouldnt i still be loosing growth rate as  my population number is higher than my capacity number in that province

every province has a base capacity.

then it has bonus or minus depending on where it is.

then farms add to point where you slow growing.

maximum is 200k for nomads

like in version 4 100k is point where growth slows.

what is farm capacity's relation to population in the obove post u see a 6008 capacity  but a 9k pop and no penelty now at arond 16k pop i have a negative pop loss due to shortage capacity is still 6008  so obviously capacity and pop are not a 1to1 ratio what is the ratio?          province 1 u start with 100,000 capacity how much population is that before u need to build the first first additional farm if not 100,000 people?

Population losses start when the population gets 10 000 more than the farm total capacity.
