continuous gold depletion? i need help

Hi there. I have a problem:

my gold at 6:24 wasa 473. then at 6:26, my gold my 463.

I am having a negative income of  10 gold every minute or so.

Now, the case is this. I have 10000 workers in free economics. ( around 800 gold income per hour)

My only army in the field are battering rams, which have an army upkeep of 100 gold per hour.

My army are currently coming home, (so this means I have no army upkeep for them; it says in the empire report that I only have 100 gold army upkeep for the battering rams)

edit: also I did not borrow from the bank
experiment:
6:59 I have 174 gold, I have 11k workers in free economics(SHOULD HAVE 600-800 gold income                            PER hour, OR 60-80 PER MINUTE)

AT 6:59, I removed all my workers from free economics.

AT 7:00 my gold became 151 from 174. (decrease of 23)
I THEN PUT MY 11k WORKERS IN FREE ECONOMICS.

AT 7:01, my gold went from 151 TO 142. (decrease of 9)
WHATS HAppening?!

AT 7:05 gold is 114

Can anyone tell me why Im having negative income gold? REALM 63

so if my army that is attacking for example has 100 army upkeep, how much do they spend when attacking?

Army on attack consumes more upkeep than when they are standing

It's 1.5x army upkeep when on the move.
why don't you spend some time reading the manual instead of screaming ?

i wasnt screaming . i just thought that it was a 1.5 x army upkeep one time payment if you send them on an attack. anyway thanks for the clarification

maybe the army you sent have some scalawags with them. as their chief, you have to impose strict discipline and clean up their ranks.
