Hi, nedlear. Only the special resources listed below grant alliance bonus, if an alliance member founds a holding on them. But this bonus applies only to the alliance armies, the special resource conquered by an alliance member will not grant bonus to the Empire of another ally. Only the special resources you've conquered by yourself will grant bonus to your Empire.
Special resources that grant bonuses to the alliance armies: Ancient Temple, Sacred Ancient Temple, Horseshoe, Heavy Horseshoe, Yew, Rich Yew Field, Coal, Rich Coal Field, Horses, Heavy Horses, Wool, Rich Wool Field, Cotton and Rich Cotton Field.
The same rules as for the personal bonuses apply: Bonuses of the same Special resource type cannot be accumulated. If there are 2 bonuses of the same type, only the bigger one is accounted. The same bonus granted by two different special resource terrains are accumulated. Example: If there are 2 holdings on Heavy Horseshoe in the alliance, your alliance army will have 10% bonus to Attack of all Cavalry. If there is one holding on Rich Wool Field and 1 on Rich Cotton Field in the alliance, your alliance army upkeep will be decreased by 20%.
