No General experience received when attacking

 I connect via Steam.
My Generals are not gaining any experience when attacking. Level 1 Generals or lvl 17 generals. I attack barbs, abandoned and independant cities.
Can you look into this and is anyone else experiencing this bug?

If your attacking army is much stronger than your attack target you will not get any experience.

No attacked the same way as before, now seems to be working again. There was definate a glitch because i did the paid training on a lvl 1 Gen and nothing. Just ran a few attack runs and gen is levelling up and training is now working.
