how can one loose a batlle when they attack with 40,000 army against 1000. ??

-Build big level Fortress
-Put many archers
-make army

Or be farmer - make farms, try to catch butterflies    and spend all you have

They can attack because they maked enoght army. You can also make this number if you want

I think you misunderstood Prezs
If it wasn't light vs elite units, the answer is always the same: moral. That's even the reason you can lose with 1m units against zero
