Part of my army just fled during a fortress siege with 71 moral remaining. At least that's how I see it. Here's the report:

[battleRep=466080]valendria Vs Alex170775[/battleRep]   (Hmm.. can't figure out how to paste a link to the battle, please help out here).

It looks like in turn 10 of the fortress siege all my Light Swordsmen, Battering Rams and   light Cavalry die, but my archers keep on fighting... What's going on here?

Hello valendria,

The different units are deployed in a different battle lines, their morale is not equal, they lose different morale points in each round according to the inflicted/suffered damages. During the fortress siege, the swordsmen, battering rams and cavalry you sent were deployed in the first line, and the archers in the second line. The swordsmen and battering rams were inflicting damages to the fortress and were suffering damages from the defending towers causing them to lose morale points. Once the morale drops below 50, there is always a chance progressively increasing by 2% with every Morale point below 50 for your army to flee.
Your first battle line fled from the battle due to a low morale (42 points) before they managed to destroy the fortress. The morale you saw in the battle report by rounds is the average morale from all battle lines present on the battle field, the average morale of first and the second line in this case. Once the first line fled, only the morale of the second line, consisted of archers, appeared in the battle report - 71 points. The archers continued the battle, but since they don't inflict damages to the fortress, they didn't destroy the fortress and also fled due to a low morale a couple of rounds later. More swordsmen and battering rams, even catapults, could help you to make more damages to the fortress and destroy it faster, not letting the morale to drop below 50.

Thanks for the explanation! But how do you see the morale for each individual line then? Seem you where able to see they had 42 morale left, but all I can see is the combined morale.
If you make that visible, or point out how to get that data, you might not be so busy here on the bugs section of the forum *Grin*

We are working on animated battle report which will show more data and make it more visible in future. For now you can use the following to check if any units left the battle due to low morale. While looking at the battle report round by round, you can usually notice average number of lost units in each round, if all of the units deployed in the same battle line are suddenly lost (note that sometimes more than 1 battle lines may flee at the same time) and their number is significantly bigger than those average losses before, means that they fled due a low morale. The morale for each individual line is not available, except it was the only line left at the battle field.
