The following changes will take effect on February 28:
1. The archers ‘ attack value of the attacker will be divided in 5 during fortress siege.
2. Army recovery after battle:
- in a field battle, the defender will always have his army recovered as if he were a winner, even if he had lost the battle;
- in fortress siege, the defender will have his field army recovered as if he were a winner, if he wins the fortress siege itself
3. The 6 hours mandatory offline block will be removed from the game.

6-hour offline block has been removed

Imperia Online team informs you that the 6-hour offline block has been removed from the game, effective immediately, as it was previously announced in a news from February 14, 2013.
We remind you that the team of Imperia Online would like to provide its players full functionality of the mobile versions of the game which are currently being developed. That inevitably implies the removal of the 6-hour offline block. Beta version of Imperia Online for iPhone is available for download in App Store and the Android application will be available in one month.
We realize the importance of the decision that we've made and we assure you that its aim is to provide our players with better and more useful service not only in web browser, but also on mobile devices.

As of today the following gameplay changes will be implemented:

 

1. The limitations in the player's main empire will be removed, if his colony is under attack:
 
- The Imperial Trader will be unlocked;
- The instant army movement between provinces will be allowed;
- All the queues - buildings, research and army - will be unlocked;
- All instant diamonds completions - buildings, research, army - will be unlocked;
- Global Market will be unlocked;

- All kinds of treasury donations will be unlocked;

- Gold Transfer will be unlocked;

- Instant neutral province attack will be allowed;

- Random army choice from the Temple will be allowed;

- Automatic presents opening will be allowed;

- Capital change will be allowed;

- Lottery tickets purchase with gold will be allowed;

- Wonders building will be allowed;

- Instant resources transport between provinces will be allowed;
 
2. Battle calculator changes:
- The archers ‘attack value of the attacker will be divided in 5 during fortress siege.

The following changes have taken effect in the game:
- In Settings menu you can change the location of your empire on the global map which is automatically and randomly generated by the system. New location can be generated once every 24 hours. The change of location can be made once every 30 days from the last change. The option is available after the expiration of Beginner's protection.
- The repair of a destroyed fortress will include 50% of the price, in stone equivalent, of the towers you've had. Towers will be automatically repaired along with the fortress.
- The effect of the button for reducing the time for building and research with 10 minutes is now global - 10 minutes will be taken from each object in progress in all queues (economical and military researches, economical an military buildings, fortress facilities in all provinces and colonies). The button is also available in "All buildings under construction" in provinces and colonies. The option is available once per hour.

The following change has been made in the game: if the difference between the value/gold equivalent of the attacker's army and defender's net points' gold equivalent is drastic, the Premium extras of the defender will not be locked under attack.

Changes in Temple:

The history of open caskets by days will now be shown only with numbers.
You will no longer miss a bonus casket - even if you skip a day and don't open a casket in the Temple, counting will not start from the beginning.
Example: You open a free casket 2 days in a row. On the 3rd day you don't open a free casket. On the 4th day you will be allowed to open the casket of day 3. In this case counting of days goes on from the day it stopped.

New medals

Respectable noble warriors!

The Imperial Ministry of Military Achievements and Recognition will finally immortalize the greatest among you!
Let all of you know that as of today two new types of medals shall be awarded after each Era ends:
 • Bloodiest Warrior - for the player with most Battles of the Day;
 • Ultimate Warrior - for the player with most military points;
If there are more than one player with equal results at the end, a medal shall be awarded to each of them. These medals shall be bestowed retroactively to all players, who meet the conditions!
You have earned them!
