Welcome to the newly instituted football game, which will give you a chance to test your knowledge and skill in field of football. The Football Game has been played in the Bulgarian forum for almost a year and with this attempt we hope to be able to involve many international players in this competition as well! So make your bets and good luck to all of you !!!
RULES OF THE GAME
These are the rules, as the team keeps the right to make changes in them at any time:
1. Each player has the right to have only one account, if people who violate this rule are caught, their accounts will be deleted and eliminated from the ranking, and the owners – strictly reprimanded!
2. The game is divided into eras, and each era – into rounds. In each round will be included 10 games (most often there will be 2 games from the 4 strongest national leagues – England, Spain, Italy and Germany. There will be as well as matches from other national leagues and from the qualifications and tournaments of the national teams, based on the Football game’s team judgment). Each era continues for 10 rounds.
3. To participate in the game is necessary to post a prognosis (bet), which is in accordance with the current rules, through a private forum account in this forum topic.
4. A prognosis for every particular round consists of the prognoses for the exact scores of all or some of the matches, determined from the program for the respective round, arranged in the same sequence. In the prognosis can not be included games outside of the ones defined by the program. For the ranking are counted only bets for those matches, which have started AFTER the moment of posting of the opinion or its latest change.
5. A change in the already posted prognosis can be made by writing a new post with the altered bet, which is in accordance with the rules for posting a prognosis.
6. The best players will be included in the HALL OF FAME.
7. The scoring will be done as follows:
2 points for a correct sign
3 points for a correct exact score
8. The ranking of all players will be done after each round and after each era. The following special titles will be awarded:
- Champion – the player with the most points for a given era;
- Mr. Exact Score – the player with the most correct exact scores for a given era;
9. Every round a medal is awarded to the player with the best performance. Usually, this is the player who has receieved the most points in the game. When there is a draw in the points, won by more than one players, a medal receives the one, who has more correct games. When there is another draw, a medal receives the one, whose total difference (absolute goal difference) between the predicted and the real scores in the CORRECTLY GUESSED games is the smallest. The difference is calculated as a difference between the predicted number of goals for a particular team and the actually scored goals, irrespectively whether more or less. If there is another draw, a medal receives the one, whose sum of the coefficients of the correctly guessed signs, determined by bookmaker Eurofutbol in the regular program, is the biggest. After a new draw, medals are awarded to all others, which at this stage are still contending for a medal, according to the current procedure.
10. Depending on the players’ performance, it is possible that particular bonuses can be awarded. The bonuses in the game are the following:
- 20 points bonus for guessing correctly all the signs in the round;
- 50 points bonus for guessing correctly all the exact scores in the round;
- 10 points bonus for guessing correctly all of the matches in one playing group in 3 consecutive rounds, in which are included 2 matches of it. The playing groups are the following: “England” – including games from the English national league and from the English Cup;, “Spain” – including games from the Spanish national league and from the Spanish Cup; “Italy” – including games from the Italian national league and the Italian Cup; and “Germany” – including games from the German national league and the German Cup; “Others” – including games from all other national leagues and Cup tournaments, together with games of the national teams.
11. If any of the participants has claims towards the scoring of a particular round, he has to make them before the beginning of the first match from the next round.
12. Anyone can join the game or give it up at any time.
13. Two special eras exist, which continues one entire season, divided into rounds. Each era has 2 stages and 2 preliminary rounds. Every other round includes no more than 10 matches, correspondingly from the Champions League or UEFA Cup. Medals are awarded for rounds, which consist of no less than 8 games.
14. The special eras take place in parallel with the standard eras.
15. The rules for posting a prognosis for the regular rounds of the special eras correspond to the rules for posting a prognosis in the standard eras. The prognoses for the preliminary rounds have to be posted before the beginning of the first game from the groups, respectively before the beginning of the first 1/8 or 1/16 final.
16. The prognosis for the first preliminary round of the era “Champions League” consists of predictions for the teams, which will qualify to the next stage of the tournament (top 2 places). The prognosis for the first preliminary round of the era “ UEFA Cup” consists of predictions for the teams, which will qualify to the next stage of the tournament (top 3 places). The prognoses for the second preliminary rounds for both eras will consist of predictions for the winner in the tournament.
17. The scoring of the preliminary rounds is done as follows:
- for era “Champions League: 3 points for correctly guessed team, which qualified for the next stage of the tournament and 10 points for correctly guessed tournament winner.
- for era “UEFA Cup: 2 points for correctly guessed team, which qualified for the next stage of the tournament and 10 points for correctly guessed tournament winner.
For the special eras are valid the 20 point and 50 point bonuses.
